Sequencing and current status of the build. The curriculum source remains governed by the traceability chain and agent loop; public readiness also requires independent review and evidence from real learning settings.

Current snapshot — August 2026

The repository contains a complete K–12 first pass: standards, scopes, units, lessons, referenced assets, a public web renderer, and automated structural validation. That is evidence of breadth and internal consistency, not evidence of classroom effectiveness. Human review, localization, accessibility verification, and bounded pilots are the current constraint.

Phase 0 — Foundation (complete)

The monorepo, vision, philosophy, taxonomy, schemas, validator, source registry, and agent loop are operational.

Phase 1 — Standards backbone (complete first pass)

The D01–D10 standards tree and grade-level objectives exist and resolve through the curriculum traceability chain. Independent discipline review remains ongoing work.

Phase 2 — Curriculum first pass (complete structurally)

All grade levels have scopes, units, and validated lessons. The automated pipeline checks schemas, objective resolution, required sections, and asset references.

Phase 3 — Human review (current)

Recruit subject specialists, developmental and accessibility reviewers, educators, and cultural editors. Review bounded units, publish findings as issues, revise the source, and record sign-off without presenting automated review as independent human judgment.

Exit criteria: priority units have named review disciplines, resolved findings, and public review status.

Phase 4 — Classroom pilots (current recruitment)

Run bounded unit pilots in varied learning settings. Collect curriculum-implementation evidence only: preparation time, material constraints, clarity, engagement, assessment usefulness, adaptations, and resulting revisions. Do not collect student personal data through the support system.

Exit criteria: pilot reports describe their contexts and limitations, revisions are traceable, and cost estimates are based on observed work.

Phase 5 — Localization, accessibility, and delivery

Translate and culturally localize reviewed material; verify document and asset accessibility; produce print, offline, and low-bandwidth editions alongside the web version.

Exit criteria: each published edition names its locale, review status, accessibility checks, delivery formats, and unresolved limitations.

Phase 6 — Evidence and stewardship

Publish transparent estimates and actual spending, maintenance responsibility, versioned adoption guidance, and outcome evidence appropriate to the strength of the study design. Keep the curriculum free and reject funding conditions that create private ownership or unequal access.
