Learners bring the whole unit together by building a four-part "Earth home" picture — a tool, a real-or-pretend picture, a living thing and what it needs, and an act of care — celebrating how tools, media, and caring for living things all belong to our one shared home.

- A drawn or arranged circle on the ground Use sticks, stones, or chalk to mark a big Earth circle with four sections; add a found object to each

Connection
You have spent this unit learning four big things: tools help people, stories can be real or pretend, living things need care, and small acts of care keep the Earth home healthy. Today we put them all together, because they all live in the same home — the Earth we share.

Preparation
- Draw or mark a big circle — the Earth — divided into four parts, labeled: Tool, Real/Pretend, Living, Care.
- Gather paper, crayons, glue, and found natural materials for adding to each part.
Facilitator note
This lesson is written to the learner (“you”). As facilitator, this is a celebration, not a test. Help each learner recall one thing from each part of the unit and add it to the shared Earth home picture. Keep the tone joyful, hopeful, and inclusive — every tool, every story, every living thing, and every act of care is welcome. The Earth is our shared home, and we meet it with care, never with worship or fear.
Procedure
- Gather (5 min). Look at the big Earth circle. This is our shared home. Today we fill it with everything we learned.
- Part one — Tools (10 min). Name one tool you learned about and the job it helps with. Draw or place a mark for it in the “Tool” part of the Earth.
- Part two — Real and pretend (10 min). Say one real thing and one make-believe thing. Draw a mark in the “Real/Pretend” part to show you can tell them apart.
- Part three — Living (10 min). Name one living thing and one thing it needs to live. Draw it in the “Living” part of the Earth.
- Part four — Care (10 min). Do one small act of care right now, or name one you did this week, and say why it helps. Add a mark to the “Care” part.
- Celebrate (5 min). Step back and look at the full Earth home. Tools, stories, living things, and care — all together, in one home, cared for by many hands.
Differentiation
- Support: Work on one part of the Earth at a time, or let the learner add just one mark to a shared class picture.
- Extension: Invite learners to make a small four-page “Earth home” book, one page for each part, and to add a page about a new way they want to help.
Assessment
- Portfolio: The four-part “Earth home” picture or book becomes a portfolio artifact capturing the whole unit.
- Observation (formative): Can the learner recall one thing from each of the four strands — a tool, a real-or-pretend story, a living thing and its need, and an act of care?
Home connection
Show your “Earth home” picture to a grown-up and tell them the four things you learned: a tool and its job, a real thing and a pretend thing, a living thing and what it needs, and one act of care you did. Ask them what small act of care they like to do for the Earth.
