Unit 12 — All of Me, All of Us
Overview
This unit gathers the year together, building on Grade 3’s closing celebration. Learners reflect on how their interests, abilities, and experiences shape their sense of self, describe a family or cultural tradition and how it connects them to a larger community, and plan the steps of a goal for the year ahead. They identify a role they can play in their class or neighborhood community and carry it out, describe how communities welcome newcomers and why belonging matters, and organize a small act of care — celebrating each whole person, the caring community they have built, and the road toward Grade 5.
