Unit 12 — All of Me, All of Us
Overview
The year closes by gathering all of it together. Learners revisit and celebrate their feelings and strengths, the ways they are alike and different, the calming strategies they now choose on their own, the welcoming community they have helped build, and the care they have practiced all year. Through a portfolio celebration — sharing writing, number work, predictions and made things, and a remembered act of care — each child sees themselves as a whole person and sees their class as a caring community to which they belong. This unit spirals back to the year’s opening and sends the learner forward into Grade 3.
